What trim levels does the Ford Edge come in?

In your search for the Ford Edge, you’ll find five unique trim level options to choose from. These options start with the base SE model, followed by the SEL, the ST-Line, the Titanium, and the ST models.

How many engine options does the Ford Edge offer?

Among those trim levels, there are two engine choices as well, with just the ST model showcasing a different engine.

With the first four trim levels, the Edge offers a turbocharged Twin-Scroll 2.0L EcoBoost® engine, capable of 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. For a slight increase, you can go with the ST’s turbocharged 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 engine. This provides up to 335 horsepower along with 380 lb-ft of torque.

The 2.0L engine also is accompanied by an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the 2.7L engine works with a 7-speed automatic transmission of its own.

How much can the Ford Edge tow?

These various engine options also power the Ford Edge’s towing capabilities when it’s time to hook up a boat or trailer for a weekend getaway or a move across town.

The Ford Edge can tow up to 3,500 pounds, when equipped with the Class II Trailer Tow Package.

How efficient is the Ford Edge?

Even with its impressive engine power and towing abilities, the Ford Edge still remains an incredibly efficient SUV.
